VOLUNTEER
Imagine working in one of the most beautiful spots in the world, the joy of sharing it with thousands of visitors, the satisfaction of helping to maintain historic and botanical treasures such as Pinewood Estate, the Olmsted-designed landscape gardens, and the fun of sharing those experiences with other people with similar interests.
Volunteers are a vital part of Bok Tower Gardens. Their contributions are significant to the success of our programs as well as the comfort and experience of our visitors. More than 300 volunteers donate thousands of hours each year. Whether you are a people person, have a "Green Thumb" or want to share a special talent, we have a job for you. Awards are given annually at a special volunteer banquet for volunteer hours worked. Volunteers are needed in every aspect of the property such as:
- Information Hosts or Hostesses
- Garden Guides
- Horticulture Assistants
- Plant Shop Assistants
- Carillon Café Assistants
- Gift Shop Assistants
- Office Assistants
- Special Events Assistants
- Pinewood Docents
- Christmas at Pinewood "Angels"
